I did eat ice cream too but it was before 8 and I got in my veggies so all is good.

Each day I ate a banana for a snack.
I also ate 2 apples and a cup of grapes.
I gave 5 healthy snacks to team members and some to other sparkmembers who are stumbling. We are in this together!!

Yesterday I had fresh pineapple for a snack. Today I had apples/raisins with a bit of lite mayo in a salad.
I did not eat after 8pm these 5 days.
I've given out a number of SparkGoodies that were Snacks.

I did accomplish all three! I had healthy snacks everyday. Three of the days, I had dried green mango. I also had: tomatoes, baby carrots, and cucumbers. I sent fresh fruit and veggies goodies out (mostly fruit salad, some blueberries). For each of these days, I did not eat past 8pm. emoticon

Yesterday and friday I ate after 8, but those days are gone and I'll do better today. Today the healthy snacks are suffering a little-church serves doughnuts between services and one of thoswe peskey things jumped right in my mouth. Do fig newtons count as being healthy becasue right after the doughnut jumpedin a fig newton followed

I have not done at ALL well on this challenge so far emoticon

Most days I didn't eat any kind of snack at all. Thursday I had a snack--after 8 pm--of dark chocolates (which I guess might be considered healthy?). I did try to limit how many I ate--I could have easily devoured three times as many--but still not great. Another day we had dinner at about 8 pm. I did eat pretty well over all, just not in the perimeters of the challenge--healthy snacks during the day, no eating after 8 pm.

Today I had grapefruit (yay, healthy!) and then succumbed to tortilla chips and left over homemade taco meat (the taco meat is actually pretty healthy, but the tortilla chips definitely weren't!) because I was so hungry I couldn't stop thinking about food--I tried drinking water, distraction, etc., but was really hungry.

Had two healthy snacks for the day: almonds, apple
Sent out some goodies
But blew the third challenge last night. I was so hoping to get a superstar goodie but I let stress get to me and had a glass of wine which led to cheese and crackers. Well, today is another day and as long as I let an evening like last night be and exception instead of the norm, I will be okay.

I had a 1/2 banana for a morning snack and than when my daughter who is in town over Christmas break wanted to go to Sheridan's for concrete's I didn't get one for myself. Instead when we got home I had a skinny cow ice cream sandwich.

It was a great day visiting with my daughter and tonight with my grand kids and son.

I completed all 3 challenges today.

I made a healthy, low-cal cinnamon muffin with whole wheat flour today so I'm counting that as a healthy snack. But I've also been snacking on clementines and laughing cow herb cheese on whole wheat crackers-yummy!

I am so in. I will challenge myself and do all 3. #3 will be the toughest because some days I get off work at 8:00. I can just take my dinner with me to work and eat it before I get off which is what I have been trying to do anyway. It's a relief to see that I am not the only one who struggles with late night eating. This challenge should help.
yesterday's snack: one slice of Ezekial bread with one tablespoon almond butter
goodies: did not get this done but will do better today.

I'll give it a shot--I had veggies as my snack today--but the no-eating after 8 pm may not work for me. Because of my husband's work schedule, we often don't eat dinner until 8 pm--but I rarely go to bed before 12-1 am, so that's still 4-5 hours before I go to bed.

I am in for all three with the 3rd being the toughest for me to follow.
Today my snack at 3pm was a slice of toasted Ezekial whole grain bread with 1 Tbsp of almond butter

I can do all 3 except on Wednesday night. We don't get in until 8:30 on Wednesdays. If I eat dinner before we leave I need a snack when I get home. Since I'm at church, eating there is difficult. Other than. Great challenge!

Yes, it's a SNACK Challenge that we will be on from Wednesday through Sunday! Choose one or more of the following mini challenges. Let us know which you choose to do. Then report back later on during the week to let us know how you are doing.

#1- Eat a HEALTHY SNACK at least one time a day for each of the 5 day challenge and let us know what you ate.

#2- Give HEALTHY SNACKS as SparkGoodies this week. Fruits. Veggies. Yogurt. Nuts. Dark Chocolate! Give at least one SNACK Goodie per day for at least three of the days.

#3- AVOID eating SNACKS after 8pm. NO FOOD OR SNACKS AT ALL. No eating after 8pm. You had might as well close up the Kitchen, unless you go there for cold WATER! Don't even think of looking in that Fridge! This mini challenge will be for ALL 5 DAYS!

Can we do it? Eat Healthy snacks during the day but eat NOTHING after 8pm at night?

I will do all three of these challenges. Who will join me? Who is "in" for a challenge this week? Which ones?

Don't forget to report back to us from time to time and at the end of the challenge. Enjoy your week!

P.S. I will give a GOODIE REWARD to anyone who does #3 for all five days. At the end of these five days, please POST on this thread that you have NOT eaten anything after 8pm for five days in a row, and you will get a GOODIE REWARD!
