I completed the first 3 challenges, but never got around to blogging. It was a difficult week with my eating, but I kept myself honest.

It is getting easier for me to get my water in. I wrote my blog on Tuesday about my success at the plastic surgeon's office. I am getting better at walking.

#2 goal met #4 Wrote blog on Friday about attitudes toward overweight people #3 Only exercised 3 times this week, but I'm not surprised. I really over did it last weekend and my left knee especially is really sore. It's nothing serious--just overworked it--but I took it easy for three days and it was feeling better so I fenced on Wed. and started hurting again. So I've had to take it easy and will have to continue being careful next week until it's fully recovered.

Haven't kept up with mine as well, too much going on. I have a feeling this the way it will be for the next few weeks/month. Between trying to keep a certain quota for work, children's events at school, washing clothes, cooking supper, and transporting kids I can barely keep up with my e-mails.
I have remained consistent with 1,2,and 3. This evening I wrote my blog "Plateaus are my friend." I hope you all like it. You can find it on my Spark Page.

1. Track you food at least four days this week. After having tracked for the week, let us know how you did. Did you stay in your food range? Did you learn something about your eating habits that you didn't know? Did you eat any new foods? this will be the hardest part for me, i dont track on here like i should, trying to learn how
2. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water daily.
thankfully i love water and exceed this most days
3. Exercise at least four times this week. Let us know what you did for those exercises.
wow i was so happy i jogged around inside my home total gym, indoor bike, walking dvd, dance dvd
4. Write a blog entry on any topic. Keep it "positive" and encouraging. Let us know when you've finished blogging and what you chose for a topic.
I do try to post a new blog 2 x week, feel free to see them on my spark page :)

Well, my goals were to drink water and do a blog. I did drink water yesterday but today I must admit I've had plenty of liquids but no water. I'll have water for supper. I did do a blog though.... yesterday. My blog entry is entitled "Persistence Needed" and it can be found at this link: www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_ individual.asp?blog_id=3736225

I plan to do 1-4. I'll edit this message as I go.
Monday: 1. Tracked breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was under for carbs, but within range for the others. No new foods today. 2. Drank 12 glasses of water 3. 45 minute brisk walk at lunch and 30 minutes circuit training at 30 Minute Hit after work. 4. Blogged on Monday, but it wasn't particularly cheerful or inspirational - just a spewing of random thoughts.
Tuesday: 1. Tracked breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack 2. Drank 10 glasses of water 3. 45 minute brisk walk at lunch. 4. Blogged on Tuesday, cheerful for me, but I don't think it was a far-reaching inspirational blog.
Wednesday: 1. Tracked breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. I ate COOKED spinach. Normally I refuse to eat it, but my boyfriend put it in with our dinner. Very good! 2. Drank 12 glasses of water 3. 45 minute brisk walk at lunch & 30 mins @ 30 minute hit. 4. Blogged on Wednesday - concerned about calorie range changes due to updated fitness tracker
Thursday: 1. Tracked breakfast and dinner snack. 2. Drank 10 glasses of water 3. 45 minute brisk walk at lunch & 30 mins @ 30 minute hit. 4. Didn't blog yesterday
Friday: 1. Tracked breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Tried brown rice pasta. Yum! Also tried goat mozzarella. Also yum! 2. Drank 8 glasses of water 3. 45 minute brisk walk at lunch & 1 hour ice skating. 1st time I'd been ice skating since elementary school! Oh, the pain! 4. Didn't blog on Friday.
Saturday: 1. Logged breakfast, dinner and snack. I drank only vodka and club soda at the bar for hallowe'en - normally I would have had several beers. My calorie counting thanks me. 2. Drank 8 glasses of water 3. Danced, walked home from train ~15mins walk 4. Didn't blog on Saturday
Sunday: 1. Logged breakfast, lunch and dinner 2. Drank 8 glasses of water 3. Walked home from skytrain after opera. 4. No blog on Sunday
Week in Review: 1. I tracked everything EXCEPT a couple mini freezies, 2 tootsie rolls (I should put those in), 4 Fizz candies, and some Jaffas (NZ orange chocolate candy I can't find nut. info for). When I pay attention to what I'm eating, I eat well below my calorie range. When I don't, I eat at the upper range or above. I tend to be low on protein and carbs. 2. I am happy with the level of water I drink during the week, but I need to work on it on weekends. It was yesterday at dinner and I was sooooo thirsty. And then I realized I hadn't had anything to drink since waking. Standard weekend drinking habits for me, unfortunatley. 3. Generally I am happy with the amount of exercise I am doing. There are some different exercises I would like to try, but I'm working on those too. (Learning to ski this winter!) 4. I did blog a few times this week, but this week wasn't exactly great for asking me to be cheerful. There's only so many times I can say 'I can do it. Keep on track'... my head knows I can, my heart doesn't believe it.

I am going to do # 2 for sure. I've gotten off track on that one, know I'm not drinking as much as I used to.
#3 going to shoot for this one. should be able to, since I usually do at least 3-4 days/week.
And going to try #1. I put it last cause I haven't been doing it at all lately, and I know that is bad. This week is going to be very hectic for me though and not sure how well I will do on it, but at the very least want to get it tracked. I know I stay on course more when I'm actually tracking my food.

I will do all of them at least 3 days this week.

I tired of being sick and tired all the time!! Time to do something about it!!

We're back to the basics this week. Pick one or more of these mini challenges to work on this week.
1. Track you food at least four days this week. After having tracked for the week, let us know how you did. Did you stay in your food range? Did you learn something about your eating habits that you didn't know? Did you eat any new foods?
2. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water daily.
3. Exercise at least four times this week. Let us know what you did for those exercises.
4. Write a blog entry on any topic. Keep it "positive" and encouraging. Let us know when you've finished blogging and what you chose for a topic.
