For one week I give up candy and baked goods.
I will probably lose several pounds by doing this,
they are terrible weaknesses for me.
I'd better put a rubber band on my wrist to remind me. emoticon emoticon emoticon

In fact, I think I will just make it give up all
"junk food". That way I can't rationalize something
that I should be avoiding.

Just found this thread and how timely it is for me. I've been thinking about the foods that trip me up and I'll start with PEANUT BUTTER because it's one food that triggers cravings for more. It won't be easy because I use peanut butter to get my dog to swallow her daily pill. emoticon

On monday I wrote "no m&m's and no second helpings" and by wednesday I had forgotten my pledge. I had some m&m's and a second helping at dinner time. emoticon

So today I start again!
No m&m's and no 2nd helpings for one week.

Not so much of a WooHoo for me. I broke down and had some Diet Coke yesterday afternoon. I have been under allergy attack (runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, etc) for a week now and Diet Coke did hit the spot! It didn't cure my allergies but it met a "need" at the time.For one thing, I'm on two different antihistamines and am dried out, all except the nose! I'm back off the Diet Coke, at least to finish completing the week.

I took a bite of my son's cheese steak tonight and I scraped the cheese off...hehe...small victory...my egg sandwich will NOT be the same tomorrow...but cheese is 100 calories that I really don't NEED!! So on to tomorrow ....
