I tracked every day except Tuesday...and that was Chinese buffet day at work:( (I'm having a hard time giving up social eating). Hopefully it shows up on the scale tomorrow...my weigh in day. Even the days I went over were a success because I was for once being honest with myself.

My daughter and I made a wonderful version of fruit salad, submitted by VLVTGRRL. It is very Hot here tonight and this salad was cool and refreshing! I love fruit salad but tend to get stuck in a rut of picking the same fruit all of the time, this gave us a new combination!

Grilled corn salad with fresh herbs and veggies" Shoutout to BIGDOGMOM3 for submitting it emoticon

I picked this one because I had all the ingredients in house. Would be delish as a side dish to tacos if you wanted to replace the typical beans and rice and still get the nutritional benefits without a lot of calories etc.

I grilled some skinless/boneless chicken breasts along side the zucs and corn cobs then diced the meat and tossed it all together. You could leave the chicken whole and use the salad as a garnish as well. Would make a yummy salsa too.

I made a Spark recipe for oatmeal pancakes for breakfast. They were really good and DH liked them to.

When I made the chocolate zucchini cake I made it in a 9x13 instead of the loaf pans as the recipe calls for. Ended up awesome.

did not track food yesterday...and I should of because it was a bad day. Can we say "emotional eater??" Today wasn't much better but I did track.

OK, so yesterday I tracked everything on my food tracker. 2 more days needed this week. I went over the suggested calorie range, but I have been consistenly getting a message at the end of the week that my fitness calories burned are exceeding anticipated and I may need to adjust my daily calorie goal. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks. Going to get my tracking started for today.

I tracked for the past 3 days...the biggest reveal for me is that I know for supper/evening snack what I can or can't it. Sometimes it explained why I was so hungry...low on calories. Othertimes it was a reminder that a snack would have to wait until tomorrow. I plan on keeping it up through Friday at least.

I did actually make a sparkpeople recipe tonight. Chocolate Zucchini Cake...I'll post my thoughts later. It is cooling right now...

When you buy leaner cuts of meat, they tend not to be as tender (not so much marbeling), so I looked for something to make the meat a bit more tasty. The "Outback Seasoning" "sparked" my interest and I tried it (lowered the salt a bit, though), at it was actually pretty good! I made a shaker full, so I'll use it on grilling for the rest of the summer.

I rarely missed a day of tracking in past couple of months and have also been trying some new recipes, yum. The last two were a spinach quiche that I added chicken to and the other was Flaxseed, Wheat, and Bran Muffins -- so good both of them.

I'm on tracking day ONE out of THREE.
Even though I didn't track the first few days of the challenge I lost a little weight and was able to move my Ticker down 0.2 pound!

I'm in. My weight seems to be stuck, again, and there are 3 things I want to try to do differently. The first is to finish reading the Spark. The seoond is to do my resistance training more consistently-I have been great getting in my aerobic minutes, but I do not like weight training so if I am short on time, that is what goes. Thirdly, and so today's challenge is appropriate, I have been very sporadic with food tracking, and feel I can break this plateau more easily if I track my intake. Challenge # 2 would be easier, but....

I'm in! I'll be doing Challenge #1 = I am also terrible at tracking, and I do find that when I track faithfully, I lose weight! Go figure!

I'm in with the new recipe. I made tonight Honey Balsamic chicken. Don't know if the link will work.
It was good. Made cooscoos and a salad with a bit of red wine. I replaced the honey with maple sirop.

I'm in for Challenge #1! I need this so badly for my consistency. I do track pretty faithfully, BUT I'm really bad about snacking here and there (just a bite here and there) and not recording it. It's that little here and there that keeps sabotaging me I believe. So, I am going to track EVERYTHING I put in my mouth for at least three days this next week.

It seems I went with Challenge #2 before I even read this. I made stuffed pork chops, or at least a version of it.

I prefer making my own stuffing so that I can add extra vegetables (onion, celery, carrot) and use reduced sodium chicken broth. I also omitted the Worcestershire Sauce and used about 1 Tbsp Vermouth in the sauce. Also, because my chops were thin, I put them in a hot cast iron skillet that was spayed with cooking spay instead of broiling. I was good.

I usually write down everything, but my computer is so blasted slow that I seldom track it on line (takes me forever to add it in)...

Please notice that the tracking is for THREE days this week. Tracking all week is great but the challenge only states THREE days. I don't want anyone "scared away" from the challenge thinking it is for the whole week.

I like the food tracking challenge. I usually start out with breakfast but then get sidetracked and don't finish for the day. This challenge will make me more accountable!

I'm in. I just started tracking food again last week as I "thought" I was staying under calories but as I tracked I realized I was blowing it by not realizing how many calories I had eaten and having an extra snack at night that wasn't "budgeted".
