It's amazing how it tallies up! I did 536,710 steps in July! I will now try to go above 537000 steps.

I'm in since I love my pedometer and it keeps me motivated to really move and at least get those 10,000 steps in. For the summer months (when I usually slack off drastically due to high temps)I am trying hard to double that amount in whatever ways possible.
Remember its just putting one foot in front of the other. If you really want to start small and work up momentum try adding a few more steps each day for the first week. After that try and add 100 more steps the next week and so on, till you are really moving. Don't worry about speed, its just about moving to your personal best. Stay focused and just MOVE.
WOW Yiche!! GREAT job!! I'd be absolutely dead if I attempted that many steps a day.

As I just started wearing a pedometer figured this one should be easy.
My July Steps:
1. 6880 2. 8135 3. will try to get back in but my current pedometer is so cheap that accuracy is way off. It all depends on the pants/skirt I am wearing as to how many steps. Realized that any movement will make it advance. Margie, considering what you have been through, I think 15 hops a day is impressive. Keep up the good work, you are making progress and we will see it if you take part in this challenge. I'll bet you'll be out hopping Bugs Bunny by the end.
Very good idea. I have no idea how many steps I've been getting in. My doctor has just told me that I can start walking a little so I will start tomorrow and see if I can gradually improve.
My July Steps:
1. 2059 (I'm not sure how many I really had total; I dropped my pedometer and the battery came out. There should definitely be an increase tomorrow :-) 2. 3989 (well it's better than what I recorded the day before; I plan to beat this one today. What a great idea. I know being accountable is the best motivator for me.
My average steps per day, of late, are quite impressive. Somewhere between 12 an 17 hops on my "good" foot each day makes for quite a workout.

Several of us wear Pedometers. This thread is to record your steps for the month of July.
Copy and past the following. Then each day or every couple of days come to the same list and EDIT it, putting in your steps for that day. Do not start another Reply screen, just edit the one you started. Showing others our steps should help us keep accountable!
