I did the rugged maniac last year and I was in better shape than i was now but it was awesome. Yes it was challenging and I walked around one obstacle (i have no upper arm strength) but everyone helps everyone else out whether you know them or not. We did walk some of the huge hills but we finished and it felt fantastic. The fire freaked me out too at first but it isn't as huge as it looks!!! I would highly recommend doing it, plus it gives you a goal to reach towards. I am doing this again this year!!
LENLEN3, did you register?
Did anyone else?
SMTRASK8045, you make it sound doable and awesome! Now, I'm intrigued again, but what about the fire... and the barbed wire?!?! It seems like a lot more than walking through mud, haha!
I would HIGHLY recommend doing the Warrior Dash!! It is so hard but you feel on top of the world at the end!! This past July's dash was so hot, and I walked a lot of it, but I knew people who were 250+ pounds still rockin this race! It's a fun run to do at your own pace, but I think if you can walk 3 miles, you can walk 3 miles through mud!

Thanks for sharing! Did anyone register? I feel like it would be too hard core for me. Even though I'm fit, I'm not sure if I'm tough enough for this sort of experience. Some of the challenges along the course look like a lot of fun, but others (like the fire and barbed wire) would make me skip the event.
Warrior Dash has a cyber monday registration special today $35.00 otherwise it's $50.00
I'm trying to decide if I want to sign up, or if it's too hard core for me :3 I have a couple of friends who have....Does anyone have any experience with these mud crawling, obstacle climbing sorts of 5k courses?
