I feel bad I didn't make it. I got my dates wrong and I was over at the Caribou Coffee place, which is this coming Sat! However I didn't waste the day as I then went to the Farmers Market and came home and make a delicious zucchini, cauliflower and garbanzo bean curry.

The walk was great today! Hopefully Coffeediva will arrange something similar for the future and we can all walk again. Fun to meet you JAYELKAY and Heidi.

Weather looks like it is supposed to clear up by 9 am so I think we should keep our walk scheduled. If its raining hard at 8:30 we can just hang out in the visitor center till it stops. When it is wet there will be fewer bikers on the trails! Sorry for them, but easier for us!

The Hyland Park Reserve is located on Bush Lake Road between 84th Street and Old Shakopee Road if you are trying to find it on a map. You can also get directions and see park maps on the Three Rivers Park District website. The nice thing about these trails is that they all make loops going past the visitor center and parking lot. So, people can walk as few or as many different loops as they desire and not be too far away from "home base". There is also a fabulous "chutes and ladders" playground right next to the visitor center. Hope we can get a large group together. I will be there for sure!

I love you guys and I seriously want to see you again and a two-hour "walk" sounds wonderful.....BUT.... remember me? I'm a ....SERIOUSTOTALLYHARD-COREME!
I even have Saturday open.......I think.....I'm pretty sure....unless hubby suddenly decides we're going out of town. Now, I'm certainly up for the coffee part.....the chores???? now, ya lost me there. Let me know where (if) you're gonna do the coffee and I'll be there.

The SparkWalkers are meeting at 8:30 at the visitor center (Google or GPS it - or maybe Karin will post a link) and we plan on doing at least 2 hours of walking. That way we will be done (and can go for coffee!) and still have the rest of the day to get some chores done.
