I do lunges weekly, at least twice a week. I try to do them in the morning while getting ready. They help tone the thighs!

I did some stair lunges today! Does that count?

I did over 400 stair steps in between my running. The stair I took two at a time so it was kind of like a lunge. Great workout!!!

I like the lateral lunges with overhead dumbbell press - which reminds me I should do "30 Day Shred" - that would have me doing lunges. :)

I'm in! I will be adding Runner's lunges to my workout. I can't say I have a favorite lunge. However, when the lunge is done properly is reaps great results and it's worth preforming.

Time to start the weekly challenges. Some of the goals of these challenges are:
encourage us to try a new exercise
motivate us to move
focus on healthy habits

You can choose to participate in the challenge when it makes sense in your plan. I'll try to rotate exercise, nutrition and mental challenges through out the month.

This week's challenge is to add some lunges to your routine. Add a couple sets through out your week. Here are a few examples of different lunges.
