Hope all the rest of you are making huge inroads into achieving your exercise goals this month!!

OK, so I was shotting for 2000 minutes...
got off to a good start on the 1st and then got sick.
Now I'm rebuilding the shambles ....just trying to get as far past 1000 as possible;
this month is preparation for breaking 2000 next month.

I will do 2000 fitness minutes the month of November.

plus 4 hours of raking etc, but probably much more..... started Monday and finishing later today (when sun wakes up again)

So I break 1K but not even close to what I wanted ... just not consistent enough;
also got sidetracked with mega housework & cooking and then recleaning ... wish washing dishes really burned calories, I'd be skinny now rather than just exhausted LOL

OK, I'm committing to a big leap this month.
First I'm blowing off some steam as I've just done frustrated analysis of the logs for the year-to-date (or the past 1.5 years). There were times when I was losing, there were times when I struggled but just maintained, and then there were the dark times. What it all told me is that (1) I need to get new/fixed computer so that I spend less time online (doing more online than I'm doing now in less time as currently the computer is moving slower than a snail).
(2) get back to exercising at the good old levels where I lost weight ...and meant that I had to have been exercising more days than not.

My primary focus will be EXERCISE; hence, this challenge .to start...
(computer time will be limited because the car getting fixed has priority over the computer;
limiting computer time will give me more time to exercise - but I'll be around checking in)

For November, my goal is to reset 2000 minutes as my minimum goal (so double last few months) and this includes increasing cardio as % of that total.

So guess I'd better signoff now and get moving!

It has cooled off and I am walking outdoors again. The mini-tramp is getting a little boring. I also am riding my bike at least 8 miles outside too! I will be back with my commitment.

After our son died in July, our family's world changed forever. I dropped out of almost everything I normally did, including SparkPeople. 3 things which were affected adversely are: my sleep, my nutritional eating, & my exercise regime.

I'm having more good days than bad lately, so I'm going to use SparkPeople to come back to life. I don't exercise at all. I live on a diet of chocolate & diet cola. I sleep anywhere from 2-14 hours a day. It's really bad.

The November Challenge will help me get myself back into action. I've gained between 3 or 5 pounds, my blood pressure is high. It's time to get moving!

I am committing to 600 minutes of activity in November.

yes...this is being set up a little early but I'm swamped for the next two weeks and thought early would be definitely better than late!

I always loved this old challenge (originated by Maggie quite awhile ago) because they give me a bit more motivation, especially on those "feeling lazy" days, to push myself and squeeze in some exercise..... and become more consistent with my exercising.
So here is the start again for November Fitness challenge. Feel free to join in at any time.
