That is fantastic mom4life.

I just managed to get into th 180s, 189 to be exact and that puts me right into the Overweight range on the BMI chart, WOO HOO, No more in the obese range. Isn't life grand?

Congrats to everyone on your progress!

I reached my initial goal weight of 165 this morning. I chose that goal weight because I thought it was ideal for my frame size, but now that I've reached it and see that I still have weight to lose, I see that my frame is much smaller than I originally thought. So I'm setting a new goal weight. I'm guessing I may need to lose about 20 more... but I won't be sure until I get to the point of just maintenance. I believe I can do it :) But still... I never thought I had so much to lose...61 gone but 20 left? that's 81 lbs! I had no idea...

I busted through the plateau!!! Cutting back alot on carb-y foods, eating more veggies and doing more cardio got me past the last few weeks of no real change. The pounds are coming off again!! :o) And thanks to this team for the encouragement and support! You're awesome!! :) I'm almost at 60 pounds lost!!! WOOHOO!

I've been AWOL for a bit but I absolutely have to brag...I've hit the 20kg mark, and I managed to maintain it for 3 weeks! I haven't lost more, but I still didn't put anything on, so I'm very pleased! This week, I'm stepping it up to get the weight moving again...

I need to brag today to keep from whining. LOL
First of all, I slept horribly last night. Second, and the biggest reason I could be whining is I am having some knee pain and chose to not run this morning. I am pretty bummed about missing my run!

So, why am I bragging? Normally I would have turned to food to comfort myself due to the two things mentioned above but today I have not and I WILL NOT!

Congratulations KML429! 50 pounds is a HUGE milestone! Actually, any weight loss is a huge milestone, but it is so gratifying to see the "pounds lost" number inch up higher and higher. Keep it going!

I am proud of myself because I'm working in fitness to my vacation plans. Today I did my run/walk intervals in the residential neighborhood around where we are staying at Lake Tahoe for the week. There were some serious hills! It felt so good to be out in this beautiful area.

WAY TO GO ALIMESSA!!

I'm extra happy today because....
As of today, 7/7/10, I lost 50 pounds!!! I changed my "I lost 40 pounds with Sparkpeople" pic to "I lost 50 pounds with Sparkpeople"!! I'm proud of myself for being consistent and dedicated with my healthy eating and working out. Even during this extremely hot summer weather, I'm finding ways to keep active (in a safe way of course) so I can continue until I reach my goal. I'm very close too! :)

Congrats on running your 10 minute mile Alimessa! That is awesome!

Last night I did my run/walk intervals in the firness center at the hotel we're staying at on vacation. It's a beautiful gym. I got my hour of running in, and I wondered why there weren't more people using this beautiful facility.

I am so very proud because yesterday I got up at 5.30am so I could fit a jog in before work. Then at night, I got my results back from my Human Anatomy test (a High Distinction) and my first ever Exercise Program assessment (a Distinction, but so close to a HD!!).

I am so very proud of my results and effort :)

Couple things I'm proud of:

1) Weighed in and lost 7 pounds this week...3 were pounds I gained last week! Worked my butt off this week doing 3 workouts most days!

2) Completed my first week of P90X...and got through each workout...didn't EVER quit...I have to thank my son, Matthew, for his support on this one!

I made it through a difficult week at work and only had one little pack of peanut M&Ms. They are my downfall. I use them to boost my energy when I feel like I'm really dragging. In the past it would have been a 2 pack a day week. But I thought about it, considered other healthy food, did some extra walking and some exercises at my desk. I did give myself one pack because I'm learning that saying "no" just leads to binging. So this is big progress.

I really didn't want to go to the trainer today...BUT I did it anyway!! I had a great workout and I was really really proud of myself!! It was such a great workout that I was NAUSEATED!!!

Thank goodness for this brag board because I am feeling like a super hero right now. Today I exercised away 1451 calories!!!! That's almost half a pound! So proud of myself right now...but also very sweaty and stinky...hahaha.

CALLIKIA...way to do SOMETHING, even if it's not what you normally do for exercise...I actually really like to walk, and I've always had great results losing weight doing it!

I worked out on the elliptical today after being off my ankle for 4 days...felt great (a bit sore afterwards...I iced it)...went 2.4 miles for DLEE!!

Good Job D and Tiffany!!

I have to say that I took my first walking lunch. I took it easy today because the legs still are sore from this weekend, but I made myself do at least 10 minutes (did 13, actually) and walked a half a mile! Think I might do another 10-20 tonight if the weather holds out...if not I might cycle it while watching Lost!

I lost another 4 pounds!!!! I am sooo incredibly proud of myself! In the past I was never able to get below 245. But this time I flew through the 240's!

I completed Day 1 of Week 4 in Couch 2 5K program today! I'm very pumped because on Week 1 Day 1 I struggled to do the 60 second running intervals and today I completed all of the running intervals which included 2 x 3 minute intervals and 2 x 5 minute intervals! And burned 782 calories in the process. I am becoming a runner!!!

Yesterday I finished Week 3 of the Couch to 5K program! Woo Hoo!

ALIMESSA: I love, love, love this, D!! I've stickied it even!! I am now down 16 pounds...unofficially...I weigh in officially on Sunday, but I just had to step on that scale! Yea me!!

MERALO: I've lost 16kgs in 16 weeks!!! The centimeter loss is massive too...almost halfway!
