It's really nice that you have a memory so lovely that you've almost created a "safe place" with it. :)
I like your strategy for combatting negative thoughts. I usually just go through all of the moments in my day and make sure I can think of each one positively, even if it's something that I would usually think is 100% negative.
We'll get there!

I am working on changing my negative thought patterns by re-framing the thoughts. If I have a negative thought I question it by asking if there is any evidence to support the thought, and then offer myself alternative positive thoughts.
For times of low mood and stress, (and cravings for a cigarette), I have a sniff of a jasmine scented candle. When I was eleven I went on holiday to Spain with my family and it was absolutely brilliant - best holiday I ever had. Jasmine grew outside my window, so whenever I smell jasmine it takes me right back to a wonderful memory and just makes me feel happy.
Hello there! The last three weeks have been a crazy ride for me. I got sick last Friday and am just feeling better today. Luckily, I've been trying to stay positive and that helped me realize that being sick just helped me lose more weight! So far I've lost 5 pounds in these last three weeks. I'm very proud of myself. :)
I try to meditate once a day now, and I plan on adding a lot of going over what has happened to me and being optimistic about everything. I also have been biking a lot, and now that I feel better I can keep that up. Thanks for all of the support!
