Sounds like you are doing great! I have three kids and they don't all like the same things. We have a recipe box too and we let the kids each choose one meal for the week when we are making the grocery list, that way everyone feels that they got to pick something.
Oh, I just noticed that this is a very old post, so I will visit your blog to see how you are doing now! lol

Well I can't say the time has flown by LOL. This wasn't called a challenge for nothing. I think the most difficult part is feeding so many different tastes at a meal. There hasn't been a meal yet that someone hasn't turned their nose up at. c'est la vie. We have a recipe box with those recipes that most like. No one gets their way unless they are cooking. LOL. We set up a meal plan and who's cooking what for the week. Now that's progress... they are all learning how to cook for an army and serve everything hot a once!
As far as exercising, we all love to "play" together and that in and of itself is a good workout. I want the little ones to understand that exercising doesn't have to be a chore.
We did a real fun activity on Thanksgiving Day. I posted it on my blog FAMILY-FUN-FUNCTION. Please check it out... oh and GRAB-A-LAUGH while your there!
Good Luck to Everyone on this and all their challenges!
