eat healthy meals together without tv on so that we can focus on talking and relaxing. have daughter help more with meal prep and cleanup. take time for "us" without friends or interruptions. daughter and i am working out together and enjoying it. we are also planning meals and activities together.

Family Goal 4...Reduce screen time To reach this goal we... ...Cancelled cable ...Will only spend 1 hour on the computer outside of work/school activities ...Will only have the TV on from 7-9 pm weekdays, 8-10 pm weekends
Here I am in Week 4, and it has made such a difference in my family! Over the last 3 weeks, I have attempted to get my husband and son involved in my "healthy family makeover". We have eaten as a family at least 3 or 4 nights a week. I am cooking all our meals at home, and making sure that they are balanced. I have managed to get my husband and son off the couch and working out with the Wii at least 3 nights out of the week.
I am going to continue this wonderful new trend. Family game night has never been more fun! I am calling this challenge a success!!
