Week one:

we reduce the TV we had the tv shut off for 2 hours
add more family time instead TV

we understand the food label
we add lot more exercise

I can't check in every day, (college student and working wife) so here's how this week went:

We sat down and talked about what we wanted out of this challenge and what we could do to achieve it. Check.

As far as "setting yourself up for success" with the chore menu, ongoing grocery list, whatnot: We have no kids, so the chores are already assigned. I already keep a running grocery list, but we plan to sit down and see about revamping our dinner menu so we can make it healthier and pick it all up in one shopping trip.

Reducing screen time, definitely. Ours is PC instead of TV, but we find we spent a lot of wasted time there. We've instituted a no PC until 6pm rule (on days we're home without classes). On class days we won't need the rule since we're both full time, but will definitely apply it to any day we're home anyway.

We've started walking 3.1 miles (or 2.5 with the dog) and make it 3x weekly. Hoping to keep it up through the next couple weeks of this challenge!
