1. To reach my goal weight by eating mainly at home and going to restaurants less frequently 2. To enjoy the process--not try to race to the finish line 3. To embrace and accept the changes on all levels and get used to them as I go 4. To enjoy healthy cooking and cook creatively 5. To cook in larger batches so I can freeze and use later when I don't feel like cooking 6. To have a progressively healthier body image helped by cooking at home more and being more in control of what I eat that way.
Great goals! I'm not sure I can do home-cooked every day, but I am trying to only eat out once a week and then be very careful. I've done it so far---and have only eaten out twice. But now that the holidays are over and my friends and I are all back from visiting family, I'm sure the temptation to eat out will be there. We tend to go out a lot!
I do love the crockpot. It is so easy and convenient. Guess I'll use that more!
