i started this at 248.8 pounds and am hoping i can lose at least 50 in one year.

My husband cooks AMAZING food! Not always the healthiest, though we are working on that! During the challenge, he taught me how to make an awesome vegetarian chili. He is going to teach me how to grill this summer! I will cook with him, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to surpass him. I really won the lotto when I married this one, LOL!

most of the men in my life are excellent cooks. they can cook healthy but most chose not to cause they like the sauces to much or the gravy lol

My husband's the same - cooks what he knows, not necessarily the healthiest...but at least I don't have to worry about dinner half the time!

My boyfriend is a pretty good cook, though less adventurous than I am. He mostly does things like grill chicken or steaks, whereas I'll play around with fish, pasta, all kinds of things. But we both make yummy food!

Before I started this challenge, I could barely make toast. Now, I'm making meals. The other day, I made Syrian green beans and Mediterranean salmon, and it was delicious! So for my long-term goal, I just want to keep learning and cooking. Hubby's afraid that now that the challenge is complete, he will have to go back to being the chef of the house. My goal is to keep cooking and not let that happen. He'll probably still do a lot of cooking, but I want to take a much more active role and split the task of preparing food more evenly between us.
