Cooking at home saves more than calories. I like to read healthy recipes and trying some that are going to please my husband. I like to go out ot eat but it isn't great for my total at the end of the tracker. Money, taste and spending private quality time at home.

I'm so glad I'm back to cooking regularly at home. Even if they are basically mostly pantry recipes, I've already begun to feel better about myself and just in general. Yay for healthy foods!

You know you can do it, because in the end, you are the one who determines your weight. That said, I'm here for support if you want it. ^^

Check out my page for some great recipes! I update it every day!

emoticon Good for you! I agree - fast food doesn't taste anywhere near as great as good, whole food does.

Sveiki!

Considering the blog I run on healthy cooking for people on a budget, you think I would cook more often at home, but at times, I'm just too darn lazy. I love my recipes and making my own food, and to be honest, most of the food at work or that I have access to in fast food is just plan nasty compared to the healthy alternatives I have grown to know and love. The convenience is a pain, ironically. My long term goals? To put more of my knowledge to use, to take better care of myself and the boys, and to cook every night, every dinner, as often as I can. I don't want to get sick from fast food again, and I definitely don't want to be afraid of gaining the weight back. I can control my portions more at home, and I intend with every fiber of my being to continue on this journey. Those that wish can take a look at the blog in my sig and join me.
