I like experimenting with my cooking. These challenges are great. However,I went out to a great Chinese restaurant with a friend yesterday. Lowering calories was impossible!. The meal tasted very rich and left me uncomfortable after working on a low fat diet. We went to a Chinese grocery after wads. I purchased some wonderful fresh fruit and vegies that Is difficult to find any where else here in Minnesota.
I agree. I just have made 2 very small changes in almost a month that are paying off. My problem is that I have to restraint myself from jumping from my baby steps to running. This week I'm going to make a third small change in my lifestyle. I keep telling myself all the time: a habit takes about 2 weeks to set, so be calm.

Hooray! Great job! Hubby and I made this really yummy fish stirfry last night, with some brown rice. It was healthy, full of veggies, and filling :) Not to mention QUICK! I think it took us about 15-20 min

So making little changes gets results. Writing in my Food journal means I have an account of waht I am doing and can see where I need to make changes.
