I love batch cooking and decided to do some mince that can be used for various recipes. I have cooked off the mince with loads of vegetables and added the sauce as well and divided it into portions ready to use. I now have mince ready for things like Cottage pie, chilli or for using to stuff pepper with. I made a huge curry and had plenty left over to freeze I am planning on using some of it in a pie for when my son comes over. Pastry top only that way I can control the amount I have. Chicken was next to get the batch cook off, I make pasta bakes and decided to make a batch of chicken with two different sauces. Now I have the base for other meals all I have to do thaw it out and add cooked pasta and litle cheese on the top anad hey presto dinner is done.
