Cleared out cupboards, fridge and freezer so now plenty of room for healthy foods.
Cooked up two different mince meals with lean beef mince and lean lamb mince. Now I have cooked mince with loads of vegetables in them and divided up into portions for the two of us. This means I have the base for, shepherds pie, bolognese, chili and for adding to a baked potato.
Cooked up 2 lots of chicken that I can now use for chicken supreme, the other lot I cooked up for a pasta bake. So plenty of meals to go at this will hopefully stop DH cooking meals that are loaded with calories like last night.
Learning to love my crockpot put the ingredients in and it can cook all day on auto brilliant.
My other gadget I love is my blender I can blend some of the soup up and add it to the rest so I have thick comforting soup and still have the chunky vegetables. I can make up my own soups cheaper than buying in tins.
