I look at week 2 as kind of a "freebie"... batch cooking in my house is easy, since there's only two of us. With most recipes providing at least 4 servings, there's always a second meal in it. Well, that leaves time to look for more new recipes, right?

I am almost done with this challenge team and wow, did things pick up for me in weeks 3 & 4. I've learned so much about substitutions and have actually kept up with the planning and the clean kitchen This is a team EVERYBODY should do at least once. Now to get my long term goals down.

I understand the disappointment, I feel the same, but it will also allow me to work on making smaller changes that I hadn't thought about. I've got the batch cooking & gadgets down, but some of those tips and tricks, I look forward to trying!

I just started week two...some of which i already did, will do again. like my Dad would tell me,"double check what you have done, as most times you may have missed something." Even I feel disappointed at times. I shake it off,as tomorrow is another day to focus and be positive.
I totally understand what you are saying. But I realized that by doing the things in Week 1, I naturally began doing the things in week 2. Inadvertently I combined the two weeks in my head without knowing I was.
I think also many people do not do batch cooking so this was new for them. For me, it came along with organizing my kitchen.

Week 2 is in the done column for me. I come away just a little disappointed. Week one was full of activity, cleaning, organizing, throwing out, planning menus and shopping lists. Week 2 didn't provide much in the way of challenge for me. Maybe it's because I already do the things suggested. Anyway, I am looking forward to week 3.
