Good idea LITTLESOS. I want to complete week two but I still have a little work to do. As for cooking at home, I do that most of the time now. However there are some utensils that I need to make things go a lot smoother.
We got our frig cleaned out. It is much easier when the frig is orderly then it seems to be a snap to know what you have to throw together quickly. Last night we put our meal for today in the crockpot. No drive-thru needed!
So, my second week of the Healthy Cooking Challenge is almost over. I did have the opportunity to clean out my pantry and most of the cupboards. I didn't do a whole bunch of batch cooking, but enough so that I wasn't in a bind after work with nothing in the frig - and somehow I think that's the point for me.
However, although I know that I need to cook healthy, due to my job I also need to know how to order/eat healthy at restaurants. Also, I hate wasting, and I take my leftovers home. So next week I have a goal of learning how to incorporate my leftovers either into my meal plan or ordering things that I can put into recipes (like maybe soups).
