did not do so well tonight. i made a less healthy choice then overate. i am waiting till thursday to officially start this challenge,
toinight i cleaned out the spice cabinet. i will have plenty of low calorie and also some low sodium seasonings for my meals. i also cleaned out the baking/cooking cupboard. i have oats, lentils, whole grain pasta, canned tuna and a few other items so i know what i have for making healthy meals.
That sounds like a great goal! My husband likes to go out to eat on weekends when he's not out in the field, but lately I've been limiting that to just once a week and it's been working out great for us. I also have gotten away from eating fast food before or after work and just take a lunch bag to work so I can plan ahead what I'm eating and won't be tempted.

Overall we do eat at home, just this one work lunch that I have to do. I live in the middle of rural Ozarks where the game is often "the first one to find a vegetable on the menu wins" its awful! BUT, its once a week so I suppose I can just deal with it. I just have to limit myself from going on the other days of the week lol!
Restaurant food is tempting but you can work around it. I look up the nutrition information on line before I go out to eat and choose an item that I can fit into my plan. I put it on my nutrition tracker and plan the rest of my meals accordingly. That way I don't go over my calories for the day. Most chains and some local restaurants have this information on line.

Cooking dinner at home isn't a problem, I do that every night, but tend to go out for lunch several times a week with coworkers. One is mandatory so my goal this week is to take and eat lunch each day except Tuesday!
