Will need to repeat planning my meals and keeping my kitchen clean and organized. an occastion weekend cleanup for 45 minutes is not the same as 10 minutes a day of of cleaning and organizing. i think i will want to cook more if i don;t have to be nervous or frustrated with a messy work space.

Your meal plan sounds yummy! I am working on getting rid of all the sugars in my diet.

All good choices, recommend the following changes all egg whites except 1 egg with yolk, because 2 eggs has more than the daily recommended amount of cholesterol. Replace Iceberg lettuce with romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce is mostly water and has little nutritional value.

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year!! My name is Karen and as of today I seriously put myself on a diet. For the first week for breakfast I will be having either scrambled eggs with onion cooked in the microwave and 4 1" slices of kielbasa sausage and a glass of low-fat milk or I will be fixing french toast with raspberries or strawberries on top and low-fat whipped topping...Lunch will consist of a chef salad with iceburg lettece, onion, cucumber, bell pepper, avadcado and lean cuisine salad essentials....For dinner it will be either red beans and rice or pork chop and frozen veggies...snacks, if I have any, will consist of either banana, apple (quartered) or an orange...Bottled water in between...

If I am on the right track, I wish someone would let me know...I am relying on my new friends here at sparkpeople.com to keep me on track...please!

Respectfully,

Karen Gilbreath
