My main goal for Week One will be menu planning, grocery shopping accordingly, and then actually preparing those planned meals!! I am embarrassed to admit how many times I have planned my weekly menu & purchased the necessary ingredients, but end up wasting good food (and the money spent to buy it) because I make all kinds of excuses to NOT cook. I hope that "going public" here will help me break this cycle. I will keep things very simple to start with, to help ensure success. And I hope along the way I will learn to like (and maybe even love) preparing healthy meals for my family.
