this part of my challenge will take me some time to get used to it. i don't know why i hate cleaning my kitchen so often but i really dislike it. a clean organized kitchen will be easier to prepare healthy meals and snacks and not get distracted by junk or be tempted by take out because it is "faster"
You are doing great on your weight loss by the way! Have you asked your husband not to read at the table? I know that sometimes people get in a nitch and it is hard for them to get out. It is worth a try. Shoot, do something extra special for him and let him know that you want his undivided attention at the dinner table. Wear something sexy, use the fine china, cook him his favorite meal and put is on the dinner table so there is no room for a book. Be creative girl! Don't give up hope!!
We have started eating at the dinner table and we seems to enhoy dinner better. We talk more, keep in touch with everyone's day, eat slower...therefore not overeating. There are four of us in my household right now (all adults) and I put a leaf in the dining table that made it bigger when we were having a dinner party. The leaf stayed there and made the table bigger and more inviting. It was a win-win for all!
