I changed my goal from packing my lunch to doing one healthy recipe a week. (I already pack my lunch every day during the week, and the habit is sticking, thank goodness.) Yesterday, I was on a roll making rice with onions (onions that my toddler methodically picked out and threw at his dad) and ground turkey with garden peppers and vegetables (that was my new healthy recipe).
But, this challenge is going to force me to buy other ingredients because I cook the same type of things, and I smoothie the same fruits and vegetables.
Anyway, I already warned my family that I want to make a new recipe each week, even if it's just a side dish. Wait, side dishes count too right? Thank goodness for Chef Meg recipes.
