With portion control you can have the tastes you love in SMALLER amount. I put thing I want in the freezer in small container or bags. Set them out to thaw and wait to enjoy. It can be done without misery. :o)

I agree with you that portion control is the key and it is hard to get under control for me. I am getting there though, slowly but surely. Good luck.

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

You are doing a great job, even if you stumble, just pick yourself up and keep going. It's like the first step in a long walk, one step at a time. Great job so far.

you're on your way and it should not be as painful as pulling a tooth (I hope)

Good luck!

I went through all the cupboards and the fridge and freezer and itemized all the healthy food in the house, I can't eliminate all the crap because I have others in the house who are not on this journey. I have the scale and measuring instruments, I am half way through the week and what a surprise but life happened I had to take my elderly parents to the Dr's office and they wanted to eat out so I didn't succumb but I didn't eat the meal that I should have. I need to work harder for portion control. you know this all seemed easier by far than changing forty eight year old habits its like pulling teeth with chop stix.
