With portion control you can have the tastes you love in SMALLER amount. I put thing I want in the freezer in small container or bags. Set them out to thaw and wait to enjoy. It can be done without misery. :o)
I went through all the cupboards and the fridge and freezer and itemized all the healthy food in the house, I can't eliminate all the crap because I have others in the house who are not on this journey. I have the scale and measuring instruments, I am half way through the week and what a surprise but life happened I had to take my elderly parents to the Dr's office and they wanted to eat out so I didn't succumb but I didn't eat the meal that I should have. I need to work harder for portion control. you know this all seemed easier by far than changing forty eight year old habits its like pulling teeth with chop stix.
