emoticon Those are excellent goals. There are some good articles on SP about substitutes for fats, sugars, etc. for cooking and baking. My sister and I have used many of them and compare notes - it's been really fun.

Great goals!! Im trying to achieve the same things in home. My son will be 3 in May, he used to eat very well. He is now become muh more picky!! Good luck :)

I would like for my family to start eating healthier meals. My son is 14 1/2 months old and I want him to have healthy eating habits so my husband and I need to set the example. I have three goals:

1. Eat out less. I cook fairly healthy foods when we eat at home, but tend to go for french fries when we eat out.

2. Try at least 1 new recipe each week.

3. Substitute healthy alternatives in the items I cook now.
