After finishing week one I re learned he importance of having a master shopping list to build you list for week. how much money I saved with a list as i did wander thought the store got what was on the list and that was all that found its way into the cart. if you clean your kitchen you often find things you thought you had tossed out by accident like my blades to my food processor. planned and followed my meals planned for the week. I am now ready to go in to week 2 with a whole food processor to build on week 2
well here I am at week one. So far I have not learned anything yet, not really. But I have to remember I have been a diabetic and heart patient for many years and have learned a lot through those programs over the years as well as being a TOPS leader for all of my adult life. So, it shouldn`t be surprising to me.
So why did I take this challenge? To confirm within myself that I AM doing all the right things. That i AM taking care of myself as best as I can. AND perhaps, there is something I can learn new. Sometimes repetition with years does make you wonder if you are doing all you can to improve your health.
Those of you that dont know me, may be wondering why I am so heavy then? Weight gain is from meds, which I have gotten myself off of and now my weight is slowly drifting down again. It took years to pile on but hopefully will not take the same amount of years to come off....
