I try to plan my meals so I know the calories ahead of time as I track my food.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28

speaking of plannin i have been plannin on makin a big ole pot of turkey stew for some time now and i think today will be the day. i always freeze any leftovers and save for futere meals. chai tea is great and i did buy the seed and you can add to yogurt or baked goods
i started this at 248.8 pounds and am hoping i can lose at least 50 in one year.
There is nothing wrong with spending time on your health. In fact now a days I wonder WHY on earth I ever eat without thinking about what I was putting into my body. Oh and I have never tried chai seeds ( did I spell that right ) but I have seen recipes for them in smoothies and in oatmeal. One is for an overnight oatmeal . Using steel cut oats and placing the mixture of oats, hemp milk and chai seeds in the fridge . Not sure about hemp milk but I may try the seeds in a few things

I use the meal planner alot each day. My son asked the other day if I thought I was being obsessed with always being online with this Sparkpeople and my diet. He does not realize that I have doing all the wrong things for so long, and that there is so much to know about changing behavior, eating right, cooking meals, organizing thoughts into a workable plan. Yes I do spend time doing these things but the benefit is that I spend alot less time veging in front of the Boob tube. My biggest hurdle today is planning my groceries for the week, and not overbuying. I seem to eat leftovers alot and that changes my mealplans for the day. Also I hate to waste food. I read a great article about chia seeds. Any tips are greatly appreciated as I close . Want to stay balanced and give my Lord all the glory.Amen
