Paula! It sounds like you are on the right track. I also tried WW for a while before I found SP. It didn't work for me but I have a couple of friends who did, and continue to do, very well with their program. I think the important thing is to try something and if it doesn't work for you, then try something else until you find the right fit for you. Even then you still might have to change things up a bit but it looks like you have a various outlets for your energy and a good mix of exercise. Good luck with your goals!

hello im paula. i live in western australia. im 57 next month and still struggling with my weight. recently i joined ww's international, did well for a couple of months, then lost my focus, now i've regained 3 of the 7 kg ive lost. i want to try again, but this time i want more of my peer support and share more on one to one, rather than just attend meetings, which are one size fits all types., this is my first week, and my goal this week is to try a new recipes at least once a week, i exercise regularly, have done most of my life, at the moment, i have a personal trainer 3 times a week, and i try to attend a balance class once a week. im also quite active looking after my handicapped 26 year old son who's in a wheelchair, and i do like walking, gardening, and crafts, specially quilting and fabric art, as well as scrapbooking and card making.,

This is my first time on SP and I am very intrigued! My goals for this first week are to eat healthy, homemade meals that fit into my nutrition plan AND to actually eat all of the fruits and veggies that I buy. (usually I look at them and then I cook pasta and don't eat the veggies!) - my forever more goal is to cook and eat healthy meals that keep me full so that I am not in the kitchen an hour later because I think I am starving :)
