I'd never heard of that book. I've just reserved it at the library (I'm 30th in the queue!) I see they've also ordered "Now Eat This! Diet!" I'm 75th in that line!
One of my biggest switches has been using quinoa instead of couscous or, in some cases, pasta. Tastes great, is very flexible, and is more nutritious.
Simply being thankful makes life easier.
I am who I chose to be. Stronger. Leaner. Further. Fierce.
It's about taking my power back.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right.
I have that cook book, and the shrimp pad thai was out of this world!! I highly recommend it!
There is also a great cookbook that does healthy make overs of family favourite recipes like mac & cheese for instance. The author is a chef and the recipes are really good. You'll discover the wonderful world of |oven fried" among other techniques. Here's the link:
welcome! dont throw the pan away switch to olive oils and cooking sprays. if you have to buy non stick pans. do leave the butter to portion control. hope you use some of the recipes in our program they will help. again welcome.
i started this at 248.8 pounds and am hoping i can lose at least 50 in one year.
My goals are to make sure I excercise portion control for my family. I already cook all of our meals, but I use a lot of butter, refined carbohydrates and the frying pan. You know, the delicious stuff. So, I'd like to work on serving everyone restaurant style rather than family style and refining my cooking methods/ingredients.
Nothing is hopeless, we must hope for everything.
