$1.69 for a pound of grapes? Here it is 2.99 when in season, even more in the dead of winter usually (although sometimes they can come on sale)

I have clipped coupons for years but usually forget to use them so not such a big deal for me. I try to reemmber to use the ones for cleaning, etc (dish soap, bath soap, etc if brands that I am not allergic to)

Great idea! I do find the 10/$10 frozen bird'seye steam veggies a lot in my grocery store and I load up the freezer with them! I just wish they had more varieties!

That is so true. Also, do you ever notice that when there is something on sale "10 for $10" it is always freezer cakes, muffin mixes, rice and pasta box dinners, etc. Fresh vegetables run $1.69 a pound for grapes to $3.00 for a cantaloupe. I agree! It can be too tempting to pick up that carton of ice cream or bag of chips when we find one of those coupons just calling our name. It can become even more tempting when the item is also on sale at the store that week, just about to expire or a new item that just came out in the stores. Better to do a clean sweep of our coupon files and make decision not to clip it out in the first place. Good tip! Thanks!

I know how important it is to clean out the bad foods from our pantry and refrigerator... but it's also a good idea not to keep the coupons for those tempting foods we no longer need.
If we don't clip them we won't be tempted to use them
