Welcome! Losing weight and saving money are certainly added benefits. Try SparkRecipes too. You can plug in what you are looking for in a recipe and you can get a lot of great ideas. I know that I have saved a lot of money per week by not going to the vending machine at work or stopping at the candy counters on the way home. There are much better ways to spend our money.

Hi all. I'm new to the site and so far its really a positive experience. I am a type 2 diabetic(recently diagnosed) and have been searching for healthy recipes.I found a good cookbook that has healthy and easy recipes, most under 400calories. Called "cook this,not that",it also has suggestions for spices, sauces,and best foods to buy at the market. Since I've been trying these recipes not only have I lost some weight but saved some money.I found it online thru amazon.
