Hi all! SP is a lifestyle change and it sure takes some work. I live alone so am very good at eating out. I plan to start cooking every day. I keep trail mix, dried dates & figs at home and at the office plus always try to have apples. When I crave a snack, I get a glass or bottle of water to drink with my trail mix or fruit and it does help. I just have to be careful that I don't eat too much of them so I limit my portions.
My goal was to cook fresh every day this week. I already broke that because I was out today and forgot to take a snack with me so had to eat out, got sick and now I am not wanting to look at food tonight.
I am trying to do the same thing you are. I make my weekly list last Thursday for this week. I am sticking to suppers but just not in the day order I put them. Unfortunately what ALWAYS gets me is my snacks at work!! I need to stay away from vending machines and remember to bring my food.
