I think you're doing good, you have to be flexible too. If you planned the week's menus and bought food for all week, you can still switch. Nobody will call the menu police on you!
On a side note, I was reading a recipe review and the reviewer said she was going to add the recipe to her monthly rotation. I should have emailed her, but I didn't and now I don't remember where I saw it. Does anyone else do monthly rotations, and if so, how do you set it up? I'd love to give it a try, especially since now that I'm retired, I only get paid once a month, so I need to be very careful not to run out of things.

well...it is the first day & already couldnt stick to the plan!
At church we found out about a fundraiser meal so we went to that instead. Now we have company coming for supper so are having fajitas instead! I think Wed supper will be the fish that I had planned for lunch today.
I've been on week one for several weeks now. I did a menu the first week, but in looking at it, it was all the old, regulars. I have been THINKING on this for a while! Thanks for your post to get the ole brain thinking again!
