My kitchen is in order, I am planning my meals for the week, and my goal is to up my protein. I don't seem to be getting enough. I think that lowering my carbs some and raising my protein will help me. I seem to be stuck at a 6 pound loss in a month! So....hopefully this challenge will help. I rarely plan meals, I usually eat the frozen dinners because they tell me exactly how many calories I am taking in and that is SO much easier! But....a challenge is a challenge so I am going to do the best I can!!! :)
Great job! We're in the middle of redoing our kitchen so reorganizing will be taking care of itself. I'm great at meal planning, it's the following through that I suck at. But we're going grocery shopping tonight so I'll buy lots of nice healthy stuff and go from there!

Today is Week 1 Day 1....It is offically happening. Today is the day I take time out to raid my entire kitchen, getting rid of any unneccesary, unhealthy,fatty foods! Week 1 Day 2 will consist of grocery shopping for healthy foods, creating a weekly menu of my favs (and my family) making them HEALTHY! I CAN DO THIS!
We had a junk food party. We took all the bags of chips and sugary fruit snacks to our neighborhood pool and laid out the food and told everyone there to help themselves. We tossed what was not gone. I will re-organize the pantry tomorrow. I try to do that every couple months anyway. Not shopping until tomorrow or Thursday so I will definitely make a meal plan tonight.
I have picked out some Spark recipes for the upcoming week, picked up the items at the grocery I needed. I really like the idea someone had suggesting to use baskets to put the recipe ingredients so you could just pull them out of the cupboard when you are ready to fix. I think I'm going to give that a try for a couple and see how it works.
