Week 2 is passing and Week 3 begins tomorrow and I'm hanging in here. I'm still writing in my journal and have not got on the scale yet. We'll see what this week brings.

So tomorrow is my weigh in day. Not sure how it will go, but either way I'm staying the course and working out.

Week one has passed and I'm into week two and I continue to write in my journal. I have not used the scale to see what I've lost, the journal is a positive way to keep on track and to view what I am doing.

So today I felt inspired, I went to a yoga class for 90 minutes, then come home a and did a30 minute workout. I feel great.

The next 8 days is going to be a challenge to workout, but I'm going to give my best. I have 12- hour days coming up with work. But the up side is that I will get in a lot of walking, while at the convention.

Happy Friday everyone!!

Completed my 30 minute workout, it included strength and cardio.

Also tracking my workouts on my fitness watch, in order to get an accurate calorie reading.

Anyone else?

For starters, sorry I haven't updated over the weekend- but I have a good reason, I was out working out and enjoying the beautiful weather. I didn't do the workouts but did workout.

Saturday, went for a morning walk of 3.6 miles, then later in the day went to the health club and swam for 45 minutes in the swim lanes.

Sunday, went golfing in the morning.

It was a wonderful weekend, the first since I've moved here 10 months ago.

I'm starting to want to expand my workouts, so I started doing Julian Michaels 30 workout. Today I did the first week workout. It is tough, but I did finish it.

Funny thing, this evening I did not feel like working out, but then finally talked myself into what it will feel like when I see results, and that made me want to workout.

I am glad there are few of you that understand how I feel about the scale. I see several of you areding the food journal. I know that there are great results that follow that commitment, I just don't have the time or dedication to do that yet. But I admire those of you that do it. Keep up the great work, how did you do this weekend?

I'm beginning my journey for the next three to four weeks with using my journal to write down everything I put into my mouth.

Just want to encourage you because you've come a long way. Don't let the scale number get you down and focus on all the absolutely amazing things you've accomplished on this journey so far!emoticon

No scale for me for the next 3 - 4 weeks. It is very discouraging when the weight loss process is slow and I need to keep my patience. So no weighing in for the next three - four weeks I sure I will be much more pleased with myself.

Track every morsel of food if you're not and eat non-processed healthy foods. You will see the results.

So I did my measurements for the remaining month. Boy, saw I surprised! I also did the waist to hip ratio and waist to height, and both tell me I'm overweight and at risk.

I think I'm at my ahhh haaa moment. I am not worried and motivated.

At least this is my wake up call to get me motivated to workout, and be healthy.

That is good idea. The scale is discouraging. I use the tape measure too instead of a scaleemoticon

Been where you are right now, I too put the scale away for a couple of weeks and used the tape measurer.....it worked....I increased the aerobics to burn rather than increase toning...

I also used the community message panic button board to ask for some advice and that's when I was advised that we could even gain a little weight due to exercising....it is also not the biggest loser, it does take alot of time

Once I got that into my head, that it is going to be slow and steady I am okay with it.....

Are you feeling good? How about your clothes? Don't stop now, keep going and show your body who's boss!!!

I don't know what it is but I'm done being a slave to the scale. For the first!2 Weeks of the challenge I've done the workouts, are relatively healthy 95% of the time, and what do I get NO WEIGHT LOSS. So I am determined to measure myself tomorrow and document then at the end check again.

Also I think I need to up my cardio daily. I wish I could find good foot pod for my pedometer.

I also am going to continue with 1 or 2 times a week doing Bodyrock ZWOW workouts.

Any other ideas or suggestions all ideas are welcome!!
