Yesterday I did Day 6 workout 2 times and ran my 2.33 mile route with 1/2 minute intervals of walking and running. It was a challenge since it has been almost a week since the last time I ran but I made it happen anyways.

Today I finished up week 2 by doing the Day 7 video 2 times this morning. I won't be running today but I will definitely walk my route and maybe do another bonus video for the week yet. Looking forward to starting week 3 tomorrow!!!!

Way to go everyone keep up the good work and keep pushing through. emoticon

Just finished doing Day 5 workout 2 times and although I really wanted to do it a third time my left leg is too sore to do another round. I will be doing Day 6 3 times for sure tomorrow.

I decided not to do my walk today because it was leg workout today for the challenge so I will be doing that tomorrow instead. I hope to be running again by the end of the week.

Last night I ended up getting 2 yoga videos in for a total of 24 minutes.

Today was day 4 and I got it done twice. It was really hot here today and with my leg bothering me we decided not to go out and do anything so that is the only exercise I got in today.

Tomorrow is another day and I will do my best to get day 5 video in at least 3 times. If I can I will try to at least walk the 2.33 mile route.

Thanks Swan and Jeffsgurl!

My leg seems to be doing worse and I haven't done anything to cause that as the last time I ran was Wednesday and last night I didn't even get my walk in. I did do the Day 2 leg video twice yesterday, once in the morning and once before bed, but other than that I haven't done anything. If it persists I will be making an appt to see my doctor on Monday. Today I have been getting dizzy almost every time I stand up and I am wondering if it is related to my leg. Any thoughts?

I just finished doing Day 3 arms video for the second and third times and am getting ready to do a yoga video for my bonus. I figure that since my leg is bothering me something that promotes healthy posture is probably the best and I don't think I would be able to do cardio anyways. I will check in tomorrow for Day 4!!!

You're doing awesome Amandee! I started a 5k training program 4 weeks ago and MAN it was so hard in the beginning! I have never been a runner, but I decided I wanted to at least do a 5k in my lifetime (while I'm still young at least ;-). I still have to push myself every time I run, but I'm up to running 3 and 5 minute stretches and it feels great! Looking forward to running a 5k at the end of October, if all goes well. I honestly couldn't do the sparkpeople 5k training regimen at first and had to find something that started a little easier. Good luck and I think it's a great idea to do the first week of running a few more times. Stick with it! :-)

Just finished Day 3 and will be doing 2 more times this evening and going for a walk. My left leg is bothering me a lot and I think that I have a pinched nerve or something. I think I have figured out what we are going to do tomorrow to be outdoors and get plenty of exercise in at the same time.

Last night I did my 5k training run and it was so hard that I almost couldn't finish it so I made the decision to leave that training program until I can do the first week several times in a row without difficulty. That being said I think that I realized that I need to have that be on the same plan as my 28 day boot camp because yesterday was a no cardio day which means that I am over doing on my off days. I plan to continue doing the 1/3 walk/run pattern until it feels like I am not struggling anymore and will still do my 5k at the end of October.

Week 2 Day 2 is done and I will be doing it again this evening. My thoughts right now are what we can do this weekend to stay active outdoors without spending too much for gas. The river is out because it is too far away so I am looking for hiking options in the LA area. I'm think that we will go up to the Observatory Park and spend some time on the trails in that area and watch the moon and stars come out.

Hey Amanda,
Your doing great! I have walked a 5K on a treadmil but never in a race and most definately I have never run any part of one!! Honestly I have never run in my life except when forced to during PE when I was in school or gym in high school!! Have a blessed day!!

Day 1 is done and I am setting another goal for myself for this week. Other than today's Cardio video, my goal is to do each video at least twice each day. I'm not doing today's because I am not supposed to do the Cardio after but since I am also doing the 5k training today is my day to do my running exercise so I will be getting plenty of Cardio in then.

Days 2-7 My goal is to do each video twice and possibly 3 times given that I have the time.
