I just joined yesterday and my overall goal is to hit 121 lbs by August 27th, which is the goal SP set for me. My more immediate goal is to complete this challenge and make strength training a regular part of my fitness. And of course, to get a nice big virtual trophy. I love trophies =)

The last time I lost any significant weight without resorting to intermittent fasting/slashing carbs for weeks was when I completed this challenge.
I am ready to recommit to losing healthfully--by being active every day and sticking to a calorie range that allows me to eat real food and still enjoy grains, wine and the occasional chocolate!

I track what I eat everyday even if I'm not within my ranges (some days it's really ugly) and I've managed to increase my water intake to the recommended 64 oz. per day but I'm struggling with the exercise component of my lifestyle change. My goal for this challenge is to follow the plan everyday and develope the habit of daily (intentional) exercise.
Wishing everyone much success meeting their goals!

So I started yesterday. I started my sparkpeople account again after 4 years of inactivity because I have gained way too much weight. I also have high blood pressure that is controlled with medication, but at nearly 45, I feel it is ridiculous to have high blood pressure. The doc and I agree that if I could loose some weight, I wouldn't have this problem. So here I am. I have no idea what weight loss to expect from this challenge, I joined more for the motivation to work out seven days a week to try to give myself and advantage to creating the habit. So far the videos are great and I haven't found it too difficult to add the 30 minutes of aerobic exercise. Like I said, only two days in, but doing great so far!

I would like to lose 20 pounds by September. Joined Sparkpeople about 4 years ago and did lose 20 pounds, but bad habits and not watching what I eat have let those pounds slowly creep back. Here we go again... One pound a week should be no problem - right? Now to stay focused and remember to track what I eat.

My goal is to be healthy and lose weight. I have type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol and have done a good job getting those numbers' where they need to be. However, I am not losing weight! I walk 5 days a week for up to 3-5 miles each day and I am not seeing any weight loss. I am hoping this 28-day bootcamp challenge will be the kick start I need to start seeing some progress.
