I joined this challenge because I work better having a "program" to follow, and lately, I just haven't had enough time to drive to the gym to work out. I also like that there are short 10-minute workouts that I can use for quick work breaks during the day that will accumulate.

I'm currently on break from the 5% Challenge (Fall Challenge should be starting soon). My goal is to use 28-Day Bootcamp to keep my momentum up between Summer and Fall Challenges and into the cooler months of the year when I really want to hibernate. lol

I've decided to join this challenge because I want to add weight training. I'm a bit nervous to have added so many challenges (this is my 3rd one) but I'm up to it.

My goal is to stay on track, the 28 day bootcamp workout challenge is the best way to start the momentum & will motivate me to keep it going afterwards. Like they say it takes 21 days to form a habit. Wishing you all the best of luck!! Today is my first day on this challenge & I'm excited to get started.

I am on the third day of this challenge and waited until now to post my goals in case I wasn't able to do this. I gained over 100 lbs when I was the caretaker of a terminally ill friend. When you're in that situation, you really can't exercise at all or even really leave the person's side because 1) they need care every two hours around the clock and 2) you know constantly you have a finite amount of time with them, they're scared and in pain and you end up sitting beside their bed, falling asleep in a chair, and hoping they're able to sleep too. When she passed, I spent a little while just trying to figure out what to do. I'd been taking care of her like that for two years. Then one day, I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize myself. This site was recommended to me, and I'm here to work on at least getting more fit again.

I'm going to be honest. I don't know how good I'll be at this this round, but I'll do the work to improve. My goal right now is to one day do one of these workouts and not feel like I'm going to fall down and possibly throw up. *LOL*

Just returned from vacation--with a couple of extra pounds. Eating everyday in a restaurant makes it easy to put on pounds even when you're exercising! Planning to stay consistent with exercise and be more careful about what I eat.

I was out in the "wild" for 4 weeks and had a great out-door fitness routine - walking, biking, swimming, yoga - combined with some strength building. Now I want to continue it at home. :)

I am joining this challenge today because I want to firm and tone. I have checked out the gyms and programs in my area, and a personal trainer, but they all require a large financial commitment I cannot make on my retirement income.

So, Sparkpeople to the rescue. Hopefully, this "BOOTCAMP" will help me reach my goals. It can't hurt and the price is right. :)

My weight loss program is on track. I do cardio and walk 6 days a week. Now I need to add strength training to the mix.

Here I go. Spark on!

My goal is to start over with working out and eating better. I have to admit when I tried this a few years ago I wasn't really dedicated and not ready to change. I am ready to do this no, I had knee surgery in October, then foot surgery in January. I'm finally able to move again n and exercise. My goal is to not be tired and to feel better about me. I'm happy but I know I could be much more happier.

Starting Day 1. Not happy with self-image and way my husband talks down to me for not working out as much as I used to when we first met. Life happens, but now I am in control. I am going to take this challenge more seriously (I haven't taken the other challenges in SparkPeople seriously enough) to loose the weight and tone up like I want to. emoticon emoticon . As I started logging into SPARKSPEOPLE months ago...I thought, this will be easy. However, I 5 pounds heavier than I did when I started. I know it may not sound like a lot, however when you are petite, ever pound over shows. I do not like scales....and I do not like buying new clothes because it just makes my sick that I have let myself go after our son was born. Our son turns 4 in two days. I'm not just doing this for me, I'm doing this so we can enjoy the summer together and not feel so drained. I'm not out of shape, I'm just not toned like I want to be so clothes fit me and I don't have to go shopping. emoticon .
So The action plan for the week: Set SMART Goal: Take photo before emoticon and at the end of week emoticon . Plan for 10 minutes of toning video each day for the next 6 days. emoticon . Plan for at lease 10 minutes of cardo - or 30 (take an early morning run by the lake each day before I get to the office) emoticon . Eat SMART meals - fruits, veggies, meats. Continue checking in with other team members to keep each other motivated. emoticon

I started this and dropped it after two weeks. I did complete the 28 day workout using a video but not tracking in this team. I plan to follow the bootcamp outlined in this challenge and see if I can drop some weight. I am stalled right now and need to come down more. I need about 20 pounds off altogether.

My goal is to drop more pounds and tone up. I have been dropping about a pound or two every other week. I'm not sure if it's do to my thyroid issues or if i'm not eating enough. I'm upping my cal in take during this bootcamp to see if it will help.

My goal is to do the bootcamp workouts every day. Food may be a challenge with a trip coming up, I'll be trying to stay within reason and doing tons of extra walking.

Week 1 - again.
My goals are:
1. To commit to myself!
2. To complete the Week 1 Action Steps for each of the next 7 days.

I am going to start with the 10 minute video and 20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. I am posting the Action Steps on my mirror at home, and have asked my Dear Hubby (who I will refer to from now on as DH) to hold me accountable. I have lots of healthy food in the house, my water bottle is full, and I'm ready to go!

My goal is to discard 70 lbs by October 2016. I decided discard is a better word for me since I have lost them numerous times and they always find their way back and bring their friends. So this time I'm going to discard them....the food tracker is a great tool for me because I usually forget to feed myself then I eat all my calories at once with no real balance to the intake. Since I started tracking last Wednesday I have had to pay attention to what I eat and when. My timing is not great yet but my intake is now spread throughout the day. Add some minimal exercise and I have already lost a few pounds.

I am prepared to meal prep every week. Get in at least 2 hours of workout a day and drink a gallon of water. I have started this journey in January and nothing will stop me from living this lifestyle forever. I want to be healthy, vibrant and resourceful.

I want to make a habit of at least 10 minutes of daily exercise. Thought this would be a great way to begin. Just completely Day 1. Feel really energized.

I have attempted several workout plans and have not been able to finish them. I am hoping that this 28 day boot camp will help me learn more discipline so that I can actually complete a workout commitment.
I am also hoping to make a few online friends along the way that will help in the accountability department. I am not one to ask for help so I end up going at things alone and that has not worked out for me so well.
