I want to do high heart rate cardio about 145bpm in intervals for about 45 minutes to one hour until I am winded everyday. Then I want to do a five minute dumbell or kettlebell workout every two hours for the rest of the day. I don't want burnout so I won't exercise before bedtime.

I want to lose at least eight inches off my waist or until I have a flat abdomen. I want skinny biceps and shoulders and a thinner thighs.

I have to write it down too or I have a more difficult time getting around to it.

STARTING OVER!!!
On 7/22 I joined this challenge. On 7/24 life got crazy, but i thought i could catch up... and then a week went by. and then two weeks.... well, i didnt complete it!! this was my goal then:

I have been having some health issues lately. I have been working hard prior to that and then i had to slow way down. in 28 days ( well, now 27 days), i will turn 49. I thought it a good time to start a 28 day bootcamp challenge. Time to get back in the swing of things and be in the best shape of my life. my health depends upon it.

NOW, I HAVE REJOINED. I WILL RENEW. I WILL RELEASE. I CAN DO THIS!

New join date: 8/19/2014.

Intention:

The above still applies, so that's the WHY i am doing this.

~ I already walk regularly. Sometimes for over an hour, so time is not the issue
~ my cardio isnt always as high as it should be... I hope doing the videos will help with that.
~ I do not do any strength training, and I am not very strong. I'd like to change that.
~ Flexibility is something I would like to get better at.

HOW will I do this?

~ set time aside daily- preferably in the morning. without planning it out I will not get it done.
~ stay focused on the challenge (this is a problem for me!)

Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I am starting to get back to the basics. I have strayed away a bit and feel if I just put my mind to it, things will progress. I have been with Spark People for awhile, stopped, and returned again. After reflecting, I keep coming back to this place as my best resource. So, with that, I am getting back on square one with this boot-camp which will provide me with structure and accountability.

yeah, I just figured out how I can get a video done two time without stressing out on time. I can do one while on my lunch at work, and the other at home. I don't know why I never thought of that before. The lift days would be so simple to do on my lunch. I have already put in my 30 minute cardio. I took my class to the field to do relays and I did them with them. It was at least 30 minutes and I know I will do 30 more at home tonight. emoticon

Week 2 day 3 done. my 30 minutes was done during recess with my class, we did several relays and then ran 2 laps around the field until every one had ran passed the line and the ended up in front of the line. It is called the Indian Relay. It is really fun to do when you have at least 12 in the line. I also went to the gym emoticon emoticon for my 60 minute cardio class.

KMANNY26 you are doing good if you left your freshman year 8 lbs lighter than you started. I gained a few during my college years after I moved into town. It was easy to keep the weight off while I was working on a ranch and going to school, but once I moved into town the lbs found their way to every part of my body and I didn't notice because I gain all over and not just in one spot, but the good new is, I loose in the same way. I am evenly distributed. That is a blessing. Hang in there, know that you can do what every you put your mind too. Just do it.

Week 2 Day 2 done. 30 minutes + was completed by running the steps (75 of them) at Chestnut Beach 8 times, and then back down the road. It was a good day. Later when the sun is not shinning so hot on my head, I will pull a few weeds. emoticon

I joined this challenge because
1: I need to get into the habit of tracking my eating and my exercise,
2: I need to exercise more regularly,
3. Get In Shape!! :D

I hope to accomplish over the 28 days a habit of tracking my eating and exercise, as well as, the ability to go up stairs with ease(This body needs cardio.)

Week 1 Day 1 for me! Also Day 1 of my sophomore year at college! I somehow left freshman year 8lbs lighter than I am now! The summer wasn't good for me. My goal is to lose that weight and become STRONGER. I want to workout at least 5x a week. I know my roommate will be a good influence on me and support my every move. Because I sometimes become too fixed on the "number", I will also be taking measurements weekly.

Today is Week 1 day 1 for me. I have already lost a lot of weight but I am not at my goal yet. I am doing this challenge to loose more weight, get a jump start on having a routine during the week, and help get fir and tone.
I am also looking for motivation, I do not have much certain days and is hard for me to keep going with a routine. But I think if I just focus enough on it, and keep going for the whole month, I will be able to keep going after as well.

I don't give up, I just go back to the beginning and restart the challenge. I am hoping by doing this I will complete it with out missing a day, because it wouldn't be to exciting for me if I got to Week 4 Day 6 and missed the final day. emoticon
I do not expect to miss any days after I get through the first week. I am on day 4 so I better get to it.
My deal is I find a reason I have to skip and then say I will make it up tomorrow by doing two days in 1, and I don't want to do that this time. I want to do it from day 1 to the final day without skipping any days or making up a day inside of a day.

I too want to shed a few lbs.
Good luck to you on your challenge. I am sure you can stick with it and get it done. emoticon emoticon Saying some cheers for you

I am going to restart this challenge tomorrow. My main goal is to stick with it. I do really well on challenges for a week and as soon as I hit a bump, I tend to give up. I tend to think if I can't do every day perfect, then I have to start over.

I also want to try to cut down on my portions size and hopefully lose 5 pounds this month.

ok, I said if I missed one day I was going to start over. Yesterday my daughter asked me to go to a movie on the wall, I went, and when I got home I was so tired I fell asleep and missed my daily workout.
Today is my 1st day all over again. I was going to do all four in the same day, but then if I do that I have to do an hour and 1/2 of cardio and I know I am not going to be able to do that today, because I did not go to the gym today, because today was the day I set aside to take my little grand children to the water park. I did that

Here we go
starting the 28 day challenge over again.

I joined this challenge to push myself to exercise. I have 50-60 lbs to lose. I've been telling myself for weeks that I need to start exercising but it's mostly been just talk (or rather thoughts). So I'm hoping to get into a routine & stick with it.

I am starting this challenge as a way to get back into exercise and jump start my second year of grad school. I've had some recent life changes and now is the opportune moment to set the foundation for healthy habits for the rest of my life. :)

Namaste

I am starting this Boot camp to be accountable and in hope's that YOU will drive me to be held accountable. When I have someone watching my back it helps me me more accountable to do it, Will be starting the Vi-shape either tomorrow or Thursday and hoping to get in to shakes a day and exercise at least 5 days a week if not more. Fall is just around the corner and I am so not a Winter person. The extra weight has got to go so I feel better and have more energy, so here it goes. Please Lord let help me to do this!! This is body is His Temple!! Goal 20 lbs @ 1 lb at a time, try to keep my eye on the smaller number and take it as it comes.

Help keep me accountable!

I am heading home today from a vacation where I met my 4 th grandchild. I will still have the rest of the week off and plan to get in the habit of ST regularly. By joining this boot camp I hope to build the habit, 10 minutes at a time. I find I enjoy cardio so it is easy to fit in, ST, not so much...

My weight keeps increasing , so I know it time to put a halt to it by doing something. Hoping the support from the team will not only encourage me but also hold me accountable.

I just had my 3rd baby and I've decided it's time to stop putting off taking care of myself. With every pregnancy I've put on more and more weight and I want to stop using my kids as an excuse for letting my weight get out of control and for not taking care of myself. I want to get back into shape like I was before I had my first and to get my weight down to a healthy weight. My kids are all very young (under 4) but I want to be an good example to them about eating healthy and not just a do as I say not as I do.
