Hi all,

My goal is to get a consistent exercise routine going. I hope 28 days will do it! It takes three weeks to make a habit, right? I've been very inactive so I'll probably be modifying a few moves. I'll be doing Leslie Sansone's walking workouts for cardio.

Here I am back again. I have let most of my healthy habits go. I'm picking them back up today! I want to loose the weight I've gained
Watch what I eat and drink
Build more stamina
Get to my goal weight
This will my 3rd time to do this challenge. I've learned from it both times, I think this challenge is the refresher I need! emoticon

Bottom line: Do your best!
If at first you don't succeed try, try again!

I joined this group as a way to kickstart getting back in shape. The overall goal is to reach a healthy BMI by sometime next year. My first mini-goals are to lose 5 pounds by October 3 (the day of a formal gala I will be attending) and 13 total pounds by November 8 (my birthday)!

Goals: to get back into a healthy routine, and start to like exercise again. I'm starting over after an 85-lb regain, so I also really want to get some of my confidence back.

I'm trying to do a toning/strengthening set of exercises every day; this challenge should help me stay on it.
I'd like to lose about a pound a week--and I'm doing cardio already, so hope this helps me with my goal.

Go team! Stay strong!

I've tried to do this challenge a few times, but have decided to completely dedicated myself this time around. I lost my job at the end of June so now that I have lots of time, there is no longer an excuse. I have already been doing three mornings of 1/2 an hour cardio at the gym with a friend :). I'd like to loose 3-5 pound by the end of September.

My challenges are to do ST for 90min/ week, My True Beginner from Daily Burn, and burn 3000 calories a week with DDR (more fun than exercise, honestly).

Burn 3000 calories/week with DDR
ST 90min/week
10% body weight lost by 1/1/15
Complete True Beginner, Core, Recover, and Cardio on DailyBurn
Exercise at least 10min/day for 100 days this year

I want to do high heart rate cardio about 145bpm in intervals for about 45 minutes to one hour until I am winded everyday. Then I want to do a five minute dumbell or kettlebell workout every two hours for the rest of the day. I don't want burnout so I won't exercise before bedtime.

I want to lose at least eight inches off my waist or until I have a flat abdomen. I want skinny biceps and shoulders and a thinner thighs.

STARTING OVER!!!
On 7/22 I joined this challenge. On 7/24 life got crazy, but i thought i could catch up... and then a week went by. and then two weeks.... well, i didnt complete it!! this was my goal then:

I have been having some health issues lately. I have been working hard prior to that and then i had to slow way down. in 28 days ( well, now 27 days), i will turn 49. I thought it a good time to start a 28 day bootcamp challenge. Time to get back in the swing of things and be in the best shape of my life. my health depends upon it.

NOW, I HAVE REJOINED. I WILL RENEW. I WILL RELEASE. I CAN DO THIS!

New join date: 8/19/2014.

Intention:

The above still applies, so that's the WHY i am doing this.

~ I already walk regularly. Sometimes for over an hour, so time is not the issue
~ my cardio isnt always as high as it should be... I hope doing the videos will help with that.
~ I do not do any strength training, and I am not very strong. I'd like to change that.
~ Flexibility is something I would like to get better at.

HOW will I do this?

~ set time aside daily- preferably in the morning. without planning it out I will not get it done.
~ stay focused on the challenge (this is a problem for me!)

Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I am starting to get back to the basics. I have strayed away a bit and feel if I just put my mind to it, things will progress. I have been with Spark People for awhile, stopped, and returned again. After reflecting, I keep coming back to this place as my best resource. So, with that, I am getting back on square one with this boot-camp which will provide me with structure and accountability.

yeah, I just figured out how I can get a video done two time without stressing out on time. I can do one while on my lunch at work, and the other at home. I don't know why I never thought of that before. The lift days would be so simple to do on my lunch. I have already put in my 30 minute cardio. I took my class to the field to do relays and I did them with them. It was at least 30 minutes and I know I will do 30 more at home tonight. emoticon

Week 2 day 3 done. my 30 minutes was done during recess with my class, we did several relays and then ran 2 laps around the field until every one had ran passed the line and the ended up in front of the line. It is called the Indian Relay. It is really fun to do when you have at least 12 in the line. I also went to the gym emoticon emoticon for my 60 minute cardio class.

Each day is a new day!

I'm joining this challenge to help myself commit to regular exercise. The ten minute video's make it easy to fit in exercise everyday, and I'm looking forward to having a team of people making the same journey as me!

KMANNY26 you are doing good if you left your freshman year 8 lbs lighter than you started. I gained a few during my college years after I moved into town. It was easy to keep the weight off while I was working on a ranch and going to school, but once I moved into town the lbs found their way to every part of my body and I didn't notice because I gain all over and not just in one spot, but the good new is, I loose in the same way. I am evenly distributed. That is a blessing. Hang in there, know that you can do what every you put your mind too. Just do it.

Each day is a new day!

Week 2 Day 2 done. 30 minutes + was completed by running the steps (75 of them) at Chestnut Beach 8 times, and then back down the road. It was a good day. Later when the sun is not shinning so hot on my head, I will pull a few weeds. emoticon

I joined this challenge because
1: I need to get into the habit of tracking my eating and my exercise,
2: I need to exercise more regularly,
3. Get In Shape!! :D

I hope to accomplish over the 28 days a habit of tracking my eating and exercise, as well as, the ability to go up stairs with ease(This body needs cardio.)
