When I first started this challenge, I had my doubts about my abilities. I was afraid my back was not strong enough for regular exercise and that it may cause me some pain. But the opposite has happened. I think my back is actually stronger and I have been able to walk more and more as the weeks have gone by, so much so that I have entered training for a virtual 5K race in October.
My long term goal is to continue training for the 5K races. I continue to feel stronger, have more energy and have even seen some weight loss. I have to learn to try before giving up on myself. I have to not be afraid of my goals.
