I've got some pretty good walking in the last several days. I use my walker to go on the longer walks and can get up to 20 minutes. When I'm pushing a cart I can get a little more in. I plan on making this a lifestyle. In the winter it might be a little trickier unless I go to a store to walk. I don't mind doing that either.
My VCR doesn't work now so I need to get some DVD's (Workout Ones) and use those for this winter. Keep up the good work everybody!

Week 4 already. WOW I know I can keep this up. I keep my granddgt 2 days a week andI know I get more than 10 min. I jump rope, bike riding, and just walk. Also work out with wii fit. It has been great.

This is day 1 of Week 4! Where has the time gone? In Week 1, I committed to walking/jogging for at least 10 minutes a day. I have been consistent with this over the last 3 weeks. I plan on keeping to that plan for the rest of this week as well. I have managed to not only walk for 10 minutes daily, I am getting another 50 minutes of cardio in almost every day!
My long term goal fitness goal? My son has CF, and I want to be able to join a team and raise money in various walk-a-thons across GA. Most of them are around 5k, so I guess I'll be training for that. I am by no means a runner, I have weak ankles and bad hips. I think my weight loss will improve my physical condition so that I am able to do meet this goal.
