First for the big news.... I LOST 4 LBS THIS WEEK!!!!! I'm now at 190 lbs. I haven't seen 190 lbs on my scale for 6 months and now it's there and I'm shocked and thrilled!!!
Despite the fact that I've been battling depression this week, and I've missed 2 days of exercise, I've also been tracking calories and getting out as much as I can. I guess all the work is starting to pay off.
Now that the kids are out of school for the summer, our schedule has changed and I think that's part of my issue. I'm too exhausted and depressed to get up for a run at 7am before the kids get up. Then I spend the morning getting kids up, washed, dressed, chores done, then I tutor them for an hour so they don't lose any school skills over the summer. By the time lunch is over and the kitchen cleaned up, I'm exhausted and cranky. All I want to do is lay on the couch! I don't like the way I feel and I'm not sure how to change it. I'm not meant to be a stay-at-home-mom! I work part time as a tutor. Next week I've got one session each day and hopefully I'll be getting more students over the summer. That should ease some of the stress for me. Losing 4 lbs this week gives me some hope and motivation to keep going.
