New to this posting thing. I've met some of my goals but then missed some. Had a stressful week with kids' activities and volunteer commitments and missed several days of exercise. However, I decided to put myself first this week and started exercising again. I guess that my new goal is putting my health first. I'm glad to be back on track!
Sometimes it's just about getting started. One of my goals is to walk down the driveway every day to get the morning paper. Our driveway is 1/4 mile each way. But it works! I have started my day off feeling good about myself. Keep that 20 minutes a day attitude.

I am betting that you could squeeze in 5 minutes of some sort of exercise a couple of times during the day - just to be moving is better than nothing and YES it does make you feel better. We all suffer the, I need to exercise and didn't get round to it, blues every now and again - right now with the constant heat, I don't feel like it but have been forcing myself to get up early each morning and go for a bike ride - sometimes I still don't feel like it even when I am only half way to where I am headed - but remind myself how good I feel for the res of the day when I have exercised in the morning before work.
Just find what works best for you and stick with it for a while until it becomes as much a habit as eating breakfast or brushing your teeth
Goal 1: 150 pounds - reached July 19th 2012 Goal 2: 145 pounds - reached 9/15/12 - reach by 5/30/2014 Goal 3: Maintain at below goal - preferably around 142 Goal 4: Back to 1. by July 30th 2015 Goal 5: back to 2. by October 1st 2015
Well, last week was a tough one. My life seems to be crazy! I am trying to make exercise a part of my crazy life. I did 20 min today! Wow if I can only keep that up 5x a week maybe I would have more energy and feel better
