Although today is OFFICIALLY my once-a-week rest day, I walked for 15 minutes during my lunch-break. Committed to this 10-minute streaking!

Week 3 Day 1 - I was so exhausted from hard work yesterday preparing for an estate sale that I was really tempted to skip today. Instead of saying I'm too tired, I did something gentle, some stretching and 5 min of one of my Favorites, a SP workout for feet and toes. It wasn't my usual SP cardio or strength training video, but I did something when it would have been easy not to. I've lost 1 lb since I started this challenge.

Great work MEGCJONES! I am sorry to hear about your unemployment but it sounds like you are making the most of your time by trying to make yourself better. The weather will change and you will be ready to keep on progressing outdoors! emoticon

feeling pretty good about my progress this week. a lot of my 10-minute streaks are achieved with yoga, strength training, or even just running in place while i watch television. i'm unemployed and a little depressed about it, and have developed this awful habit of mindlessly watching tv while i do other things. i'm trying to at the very least exercise while i watch, so that i can be burning a few calories instead of eating them! today is absolutely freezing and rainy, just like the last week, which is rough - i'd love to go for a run or walk the dog, but being outside is so unpleasant...

follow my food and photography blog!

also, i just got my fitbit and would love some friends on their site. please feel free to add me - let's keep each other motivated!
