Thank you a lot! I'm trying to get motivated for both myself and my sister. She isn't park of SparkPeople and she has an even busier schedule than I do. She has a lot more to go in terms of losing weight, having had a baby and all, but her and I both sit in the same position of not being able get up and do it. We rely on each other to get the other moving so I'm trying to take that first step.

I have recently struggled with staying motivated as well. It's so much easier to sit on the couch with my boyfriend rather than going to the gym. My newest attempt at staying motivated and finding time is to try to do things in my social life that keep me active. I went to a friend's for dinner last night - a healthy dinner of course - and before I agreed I told her that I had to get some kind of work out in. We played that dancing game on the Wii for a half hour. It was a ton of fun and we were both moving. Tomorrow I'm going on a hike with my other friend rather than going out for drinks. I'm not a preachy friend at all, trust me, I would rather eat cake for every meal and watch movies all day, but my friends were happy to accomodate my "stay moving" attitude and they're getting motivated too. It helps to have people rooting for you.

This is probably my biggest issue when it comes to losing weight. I need to make a change quickly in order to stay on track with my goal weight. The problem is, there are a lot of things in my life that make me lose focus. I have a busy work schedule and personal life so it's hard to find time for exercising. Does anyone have any tips?
