One of my new favorites is up by our North end residents! Mimi's Cafe over by Macy's! It is very good. They even have many healthful items on the menu that have all been tasty! Go and try it out!!! Warning, the fresh bread products aren't on the healthy menu and they are awesome!!

Mom...I always eat chicken fajita's when I go out. I order corn tortilla's and don't really eat the rice or beans. Guacomole is actually good for you, so I use that, pico and hotsauce and it makes a great taco. I usually tell them to keep their chicken soup too. For chips I let myself have a few but will dip it over and over again in the sauce!! They are so fast I can only eat 2-3 chips this way!!
We go to La Casona too. I haven't been since I started dieting. I have lots of great recipes and meals though. I never feel deprived though I am planning to cheat like crazy once my son gets married next Saturday.
In Pearland I like Mongo's (in the Town Center mall). It is a mongolian hot pot type of restaurant. You pile up veggies, some meat and spices and sauces and they grill them and bring your bowl out to your table. There are choices of rice, brown or white (I think) and a couple of types of noodles to put under your hot pot. I've had good success with asking for "not much" or "just a little" on the starches and you control the rest.
I would love to get ideas for good healthy places to eat. The only place we go lately is La Casona and I always get the chicken fajitas. But would love to have some more options with out blowing my eating plan!!
