I am noticing that I feel better. The daily exercise combined with some weight loss has given me more energy and a more positive outlook on life. I have completed five days in a row of exercise so I will "graduate" to week three of this challenge!

This is a great time to get started! Good for you! I just read an article that said that people who start working at their goals before Christmas do better over the long haul than people who say they are going to start on Jan. 1. Have you discovered Spark Coach yet? Checking in dailly with Spark Coach is what helped me get the most out of the Spark People resources and helped me stay motivated. Good luck.
It took me three weeks to get into the groove of daily exercise and thus accomplish week one of this challenge. Ah, life patterns are hard to change but I'm on a roll now. I am now starting my day with a 10 minute Spark People Exercise video. That has been working well to keep me consistent and focused on this goal. Then I still hope to get to the gym at least three times a week. But when I don't make it to the gym, at least the ten minutes is something. I intend to finish this week two, this week, and "graduate" on to week three.
