Last day of my week 2.

5K jog/walk on treadmill training. 25 minutes 2.11 miles. emoticon halfway done with this challenge. I'm loving it. might do some crunches later today

Thank you for posting, WANYONI. I have been thinking about checking out one of the exercise videos offered on Sparkpeople and a 15 minute Abs workout with a coach sounds very do-able for me. Thanks for the suggestion.

Week 2 day 4.. it wasn't so hard today to get myself going. Did short 10minute video and 5 minutes push ups in the hse then walked with my baby. and when hubby got home did treadmill for 25minutes. Little by little the minutes add up... emoticon

walking round the block with my baby in stroller is the easiest exercise for me n my baby loves it too.

One of my goals is to walk the dog every day. Yesterday was a long day at work and by the time I got home it was sprinkling. But I put the dog on a leash and we headed out...we probably got a quarter of the way around the block before the dog refused to go any further as it turned to a downpour. So, we went home, and then I did some dancing on the Kinect 360's Dance Central. So fun!

So far so good. I have Exercise for at least 10 minutes everyday for the last two weeks. I am very proud. The easiest is I walk the baby around at least one mile around the block.

Thanks all for the encouragement. @ASHE11ME you can do it... keep encouraging yourself.

Day 2 of week 2. Normally I don't make any effort to exercise on Sundays but I walked to and from Walmart and carried the groceries I bought home..

Interesting isn't it how we start to make positive changes in our lives like resolving to get in 10 minutes of exercise each day (which sounded very do-able when we started) and now several days or a week into it, we spend at least 10 minutes arguing with ourselves about doing the 10 minutes of physical activity! At least that is what has always happened to me in the past.

What's 10 minutes of walking? I have been doing it for 4 days now and it has been great, so why don't I want to do it today????

New strategy: IT IS A NEW DAY! Don't think about it. JUST DO IT. It may seem robotic- like the first couple minutes, but we all know once we get going we are just fine.
DON"T LET THE DOUBT AND NEGATIVE THINKING TAKE OVER. emoticon

did great for like three days straight.. then my energy level seemed to drop. i just dont have the energy to work out. i just want to sleep! but i know i wont ever have energy unless i move. i will try to get moving this week.

Today was my first day of week 2. Didn't feel like working out but after a few discussions in my head.... went to the gym did treadmill for 25 minutes total of 2.2 miles now I feel so energized even after a fitful night with my little one.
